Anyone wishing to address the Library Board on items within its jurisdiction may do so now. Please rise, state your name and the matter on which you wish to speak. Matters not appearing on the Library Board agenda will not receive action at this meeting. Presentations will be limited to three minutes, or as established by the Library Board of Trustees.

IV. Approval of minutes of October 29, 2008 Regular Meeting and November 10, 2008 Special Joint Meeting

A. Receive FY 08/09 City of Carmel Budget Report Presentation by City Administrator

B. Introduction of New Youth Services 30-Hour/Wk Library Assistant Pat Sand

C. Approve Carmel Public Library Foundation Request to Hold an Arts & Literary Event at the Main Library on Sunday, January 11, 2009

D. Approve Implementing a “Food for Fines” Program December 1-31, 2008

E. Approve Closing the Library December 11, 2008, 11:30 a.m-2:30 p.m. so Library Staff Can Attend City Employee Holiday Party

F. Approve Closing the Main Library at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday December 31, 2008

G. Approve Cancellation of the Regular December 24, 2008 Library Board Meeting and Scheduling a Special Meeting on December 17, 2008.
