II. TOUR OF INSPECTION
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. the Commission will leave the Council Chambers for an on-site Tour of Inspection of all properties listed on this agenda (including those on the Consent Agenda). The Tour may also include projects previously approved by the City and not on this agenda. Prior to the beginning of the Tour of Inspection, the Commission may eliminate one or more on-site visits. The public is welcome to follow the Commission on its tour of the determined sites. The Commission will return to the Council Chambers at 4:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible.

The Planning Commission toured the following sites: Greifenstein, Linggi, Loewy, Jackson, Petty, LeNeve, Putz, Schilling and Pepe.

Sean Conroy, Planning & Building Services Manager, announced that the City Council had upheld the Planning Commission’s decision on the burger restaurant.
Commissioner Dallas requested an update on the Walker project and a walk about town.
Commissioner Hillyard requested that trash enclosures be added to a future agenda.

Commissioner DALLAS moved to reconsider UP 11-13, seconded by BEACH and carried by the following roll call vote:

Commissioner DALLAS moved to approve the application with staff’s Special Conditions #1-17; change to Special Condition #18 - The outdoor seating shall not impede public access to the courtyard and historic statue. Outdoor seating shall be limited to a maximum of 4 16 seats and no more than two three tables. The tables shall be located against the south wall of the courtyard corridor accessed from Dolores Street. Landscaping should be used to help delineate the placement of the tables towards the south side of the courtyard entrance on Dolores Street and the south side of the courtyard; addition of Special Condition #19 - No vehicles shall be parked on the public sidewalk or the interior courtyard; addition of Special Condition #20 - The Planning Commission shall review the request for outdoor seating after one year (September 2012), seconded by HILLYARD and carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Beach, Dallas, Paterson, Hillyard

Marc Wiener, Associate Planner, presented the staff report. Chair Reimers opened the public hearing at 4:45 p.m. Robert Carver, Roberta Miller and Barbara Livingston appeared before the Commission. There being no other appearances, the public hearing was closed at 5:01 p.m.
Commissioner DALLAS moved to continue the project with Commissioners concerns and comments reviewed: pavers – green; skylight vs. clear story, skylight, windows closer to rendering, landscape plan and site coverage, seconded by HILLYARD and carried by the following roll call vote:
