Thank you for attending the meeting. Anyone wishing to address the Commission on matters within the jurisdiction of the Commission may do so now. Please state the matter on which you wish to speak. Matters not appearing on the Commission's agenda will not receive action at this meeting but may be referred to staff for a future meeting. Presentations will be limited to three minutes, or as established by the Commission. Persons are not required to give their name or address, but it is helpful for speakers to state their name in order that the Secretary may identify them.

1. Consideration of the minutes for the 1 March 2012 regular meeting and the 10 March 2012 special workshop.
V. APPLICATIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS

1. Consideration of an application to relocate two trees (coast live oak: 12" diameter and coast redwood: 10" diameter) for construction of two new homes. The site is located at the northwest comer of Lincoln St. and Fifth Ave. The applicant and property owners Chris Tescher for Pot D'Or.
2. Consideration of an application to remove one Monterey pine (28" diameter) due to safety concerns of the property owner. The site is located on the northwest comer of Carpenter St. and Second Ave. The applicant and property owners are Smith Tree Service for Mrs. Lawton.
VI. ORDERS OF BUSINESS
1. Review and comment on the proposed renovation of the City Hall landscaping by the Carmel-by-the-Sea
Garden Club.
2. Review and comment on the proposed pedestrian path on San Antonio Ave between 4th Ave. and Ocean
Ave.
3. Review and comment on the design of a new ADA accessible wood boardwalk and overlook viewing
platform on Carmel Beach at the foot of Ocean Ave.
4. Review and comment on a proposed installation of a wood split-rail fence in Mission Trail Nature Preserve.
5. Review and discuss a revision to the tree permit ordinance.
6. Discussion on scheduling a workshop with the Planning Commission to review and discuss tree protection
policy, city codes, and possible implementation of any amendments.
VII. REPORTS FROM STAFF AND COMMISSION
1. Receive verbal report from the Ad hoc Beach Committee.
2. Forester's report.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT
Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Forest and Beach Commission regarding any item on this agenda will be made available for public inspection in the Planning and Building Department located at
City Hall, on Monte Verde between Ocean and 7th Avenues during normal business hours.
